State Heritage Awards Announced

The annual WA Heritage Awards have just been announced, check out the winners and Highly Commenced at the State Heritage Office webpage.

While it is disappointing not ha have a Fremantle presence at the awards the quality of the winners and Highly Commended are exceedingly high.  Congratulations to Toodyay for their awards and to the Cockburn History Society for their win.

If you do nothing else, check out the stunning WA Institute for the Blind conversion for the State Ballet, it gives you goosebumps.

One day we may see the South Fremantle Power Station nominated?
