World Heritage Forum

Fremantle is hosting a World Heritage Forum put on by Australian ICOMOS, the National Trust and Fremantle Prison.

This Thursday (11 October) at Fremantle Prison Crown Theatre from 6:00pm.

The topic will be ‘Why World Heritage: The Realities And The Potentials For Communities.’

The results from this forum will be taken to the Australian ICOMOS World Heritage Symposium in Sydney in November to inform international debate.

This is an important event that will explore the benefits to communities flowing from World Heritage Listing of a site in their area.
