“Kings Square Sounds” welcomes CHoGM Youth Delegates to Fremantle

In celebration of Fremantle’s role as host city of the CHoGM Youth Forum 23–27th  October, the City is hosting a free event; ‘Kings Square Sounds’, in the square on Sunday 23rd Oct from  1pm to 5pm.

  • Local bands featuring: Jake and the Cowboys, Spoonful of Sugar and Rainy Day Women.
  • Includes workshops and demos, skate ramps and an urban art wall
    (‘message cube’) collecting messages for Forum delegates. Young people can also
    send a postcard message in.

Run by the City to welcome 130 Australian and International delegates participating in the Youth Forum in Fremantle. One of three parallel events running in
the week prior to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHoGM) which starts in Perth on 28 October 2011.

  • If participating in parkour workshops or skating on the day – take signed disclaimer form if you haven’t previously done one with Momentum or the Australian Parkour Association.
